Helping you get the kitchen you love.
Everyone knows how hard it is to find something at the back of a deep,
cluttered pantry. Replacing the shelves with full-extension drawers is
a much more comfortable option. The new glides extend the drawer all
the way out to the edge cabinet when you pull it. Now you can see
every item stored in your drawer at once.

The drawers have different depths to accommodate items of varying
heights.

Finally, the old doors are discarded, the cabinet is refaced with
matching panelling, the new doors and new drawers fronts are
installed and
voila! the result is on the right. This refacing project was
accomplished in Portabella doors with a Bisque finish.

This island had similar problems to the pantry
pictured above. It was modified in the same way.

Upon completion, the owner, Vivian Nixon said,"
My storage capacity was increased five times! I
love my new kitchen."
This kitchen had a large cabinet attached
to the ceiling. It hung above the island,
separating the kitchen from the family
room. We removed the cabinet and
refaced the kitchen in white RTF
material; the result is pictured on the
right.
This kitchen was more than thirty years
old. The cabinetry was sound, the frames
were strong and in good condition, but
the overall look was very outdated. We
refaced the kitchen in maple wood with a
butterscotch finish. The glass doors
added interest to the new look.
The gleaming white kitchen on the right was built on site from
plywood and faced with white RTF (rigid termofoil) material. We
designed many innovative storage options using products
from the Rev-A-Shelf company. The two super-susan cabinets
in each corner have 32" rotary trays. The range is flanked by
two organizers (pictured below). The upper corner cabinets
have glass shelves and doors. A custom knife and cutting
board organizer was designed for the owner, who loves to
cook. All the new drawers are on full-extension glides. The
end cabinet under the window was capped with a bookshelf
unit. And finally, the old lighting fixture in the ceiling was
removed. The cavity was painted, and a beautiful chandelier
changed the kitchen into a sophisticated sight.
The empty corner (left) had
tempted the owner with dreams of
a pantry for years. Finally, the wall
was removed and the niche was
created. We filled the space with
the cabinetry pictured on the right.
There are
two pantries, one facing
the island (not shown) and another
faces the refrigerator. The
bookshelf in the corner
accommodates a large collection
of cookbooks. Two 22" spice racks
were inserted between the
bookshelf and pantry. When the
owner is cooking at the island, all
his spices are within easy reach.
The beautiful one-storey California ranch
home suffered from a very old, obsolete
kitchen. The owner dreamed of a
spacious open-plan kitchen with a corner
cooktop and a large peninsula serving as
a buffet bar during the holidays. We
designed the kitchen with custom
cabinets made by Huntwood Industries.
The layout of the kitchen was changed
rather dramatically. All appliances were
relocated. The picture on the right was
made from the same spot as the picture
on the left. Please note the new
refrigerator in place of the old oven. The
window was moved to the right to make
space for the corner cooktop.
The right corner of the old kitchen and
the old location of the refrigerator can
be seen on the left. The photo on the
right shows how this area was changed.
The wall separating the kitchen from the
family room was removed. The new
cabinetry extended further into the
family room with an all-glass corner and
cabinets on both sides. The final result
can be seen below.
